First Medicinal Cannabis in UK
I have been, one way or another, trying to access medicinal cannabis since coming out of hospital on May 23. But long before that, I have been an activist and promoter of sensible drug policy across the EU.
The process
The GP, in my experience, is hardly worth the time to ask, but still inquiring and asking them to record on your medical record that wish to have medicinal cannabis prescribed. Is worthwhile and in it’s self can urge them to have a face to face with you. But if they communicate in any other way that they don’t issue cannabis prescriptions, then using a medical cannabis clinic to get a Dr approved prescription and medicine is a good option.
The consultation
Get a Dr. consultation at a cannabis medicine clinic, in my case: CB1 Medical Clinic https://cb1medical.com/ Send over in advance, via the clinic portal any supporting medical records, diagnoses & Dr letters. GP letters aren’t necessary.
The over all quantity of the cannabis flower provided is hard to fault.
The elevating feeling and reduction in my constant pain & discomfort was such a relief. After 2 blasts on my carbon filter Tune pipe, I went out in the early Spring sunshine. Before I’ve reached the end of the street, you know its good medicine. Clear in thoughts as my vertebrate releases my upper spine. I was able to forget my woes and discomfort for a while.
The high faded away after 45 minutes or so, but the pain relief was felt for twice as long.
By way of a comparison, a patient friend in Germany, is getting a full 10% more THC

The ironic thing is, both England and Germany are importing cannabis medicine from Canada, instead building their own independent supply.
On the plus side we are assured its 100% organic from seed to crop. And I for one aren’t complaining 🙂

Thanks for sharing, heartfelt and interesting.
